Cottonwood, willow, and briar,
Night air billows in the dark grove,
Hauls the alders over, their leaves.
Jumping, spilling silver-bellied on the lawn;
The lighted wind is running with a flood
of green fish, phosphorescent and wild.
On the winter grass, breaking like struck matches,
Without warmth or place, random as green minnows.
Above the clouds the sky waits, one celled.
Expanded over tides and winds, loving
The south wind as much as the north,
Schooling the planets in discretion and form.
Denise Garoppolo, a fan to her son as a football player
Jimmy Garoppolo, an award winning Illinois football player
Tony Garoppolo, a tough father for James
father is far
Jimmy and Dennis could laugh
under the cap of Yahoo,
Tony and Dennis could worry
sitting home from Gary-Field
we count our blessings
and we cheer up the clan
while their friends watch the curtain of grace rise
to see bright sun
running cross arrowhead lake
we see Jim Price guarding the high rails
bestowing some Confusion ideas through zig-zag path
never mind the pain of David Vail
offer a feast for Yulong Xing, Zhang qi, Tao lizheng, and Wu jiahong
think of Williamson, Burkar, Simpady, Langer, Montuwa, Bailey, Wilcox
we continue our walking
we reach the goal
