Thursday Flash Fiction Week 28: Innocence and Dreams

I walk out to the hazel woods,
Thinking of a golf court and tiger woods,
I see rainbow bubbles flickering out,
and a cat eating a live trout.
.
I hook a berry to a thread,
with a butterfly dancing in my head;
Peach blossom falls on my hair,
A mini fairy hovers in the air.
.
I hear someone call my name,
but only find a woodpecker to blame,
I continue on the dappled grass,
and feel pleased to wander away from the mass.

My Muses and I

when i met my muses,
her voice belled forth
and the thoughts in me bent,
images dance
while words load up the pages,
while smiling or sighing,
I take her photography
and complete the story,
until she's ready to rest,
it's a speechless procedure.

Messenger (Not Funny When The Day In Rainy or Stormy)

A sudden hurricane
floods the inland,
people drive home
across the dead zone
walk toward death,
without knowing the hell ahead,
no turn around,
no exit to find place to park,
everything floats in fowl weather,
no more remembering those calculations,
no time for 2nd chance,
your fate forces you to shut up,
because time is up.

The Wa-King By Theodore Roethke (A Featue Poem)

google.com

I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow,
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I have to go.
#
We think by feeling. what is there to know?
I hear my being dance from ear to ear,
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
#
Great nature has things to tell,
to you and to me, so take the lively air,
and lovely, learn by going where to go.
#
This shaking keeps me steady, I should know.
What falls away is always and is near,
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow,
I learn by going where I have to go!
